Christine Marshall

Salesforce Administrator at Assystem Technologies

Introducing Christine – a 2 x certified Salesforce Administrator for Assystem Technologies, a global engineering company. Christine has been using Salesforce since 2014 when she was working as a Sales Support Manager. She suggested that they needed a new CRM system to replace an outdated one; she chose Salesforce and the rest is history! Despite the fact that neither of them had any experience setting up a CRM before, Christine and her colleague set up the system together –  including the rollout, training and technical documentation! Straight away she could see how progressive Salesforce was as a technology and as a company. Christine knew straight away that she wanted to make Salesforce her full-time career.

Now, as a ‘solo Admin’, she’s used to managing around 350 users on platforms that support global businesses. Christine has extensive hands-on experience implementing change, increasing user adoption and driving best practice. Creating simple solutions to complex business requirements and delivering them to end users is her passion. This passion also extends to supporting the wider Salesforce Ohana on the Answers section of the Trailblazer Community.

Outside of work, Christine also volunteers as a mentor with the Salesforce Supermums program, reads an extortionate amount of crime novels and dabbles in yoga.

What are your biggest goals in your life/career?

“My current goal is to keep challenging myself, keep learning and get at least 2 more certifications. I hope to pass the Advanced Administrator in the next few months and then tackle the Sales Cloud Consultant exam.

“In my personal life, my main goal is to have a job that offers me enough flexibility to get a dog! On a slightly more serious note, I would like to be more involved in matters of gender equality, creating awareness of inequality, empowering women, and supporting their personal and career development.”

Which three technologies do you think will change business in the next decade?

If you could do any job, what would it be?

“Growing up I loved reading and creative writing so I think in an ideal world I would be an author.”
