Sara will share how communities can be used for something different to the usual Customer Service type community that we are used to. How you can build it even with no prior knowledge and how it can be used to share access to your SF org in a controlled way. This session will demonstrate how Sara used Salesforce Partner Communities to replace a clunky booking system the Royal Society of Chemistry used to use. Schools request a training visit for ‘Spectroscopy in a Suitcase’ using a web form and I have built the community to allow us to share a very specific amount of information with partner Universities so they can progress the visit on Salesforce. I will demonstrate the automation, the custom objects and the different views that Partners and RSC staff see.
