Breathe New Life into Classic Dashboards with Lightning

Many of our organisations are facing the struggle of legacy dashboards in Classic. Our organisations may have tens or hundreds of these trusty and dusty visuals. While you can see your old data in lighting it can be made so much better! In this hands on session David will show how to breathe new life into existing dashboards, and showcase many new features available on our inevitable journey to Lightning. He will review various options in Lightning, and discuss best practice for revamping old dashboards, optimisation and improving overall presentation which can help with user adoption.

Systemising Customer Feedback: Create, Automate & Integrate Salesforce Surveys

Customer opinions matter: there’s a free native app for that! Knowing what is and isn’t working and identifying pain points is key to constant improvement and the ability to stay ahead of the curve and competition. Capturing feedback is even easier with a fully native survey builder available right in Salesforce. Even better, it’s Admin friendly with NO code required! Previously only available in Health Cloud edition or with a creator licence, the Summer 19 release brought in changes to a subscription model with the first 300 completed surveys FREE! This alone allows us Awesome Admins to play and develop our survey strategies and supercharge the effectiveness before having to submit a business case for a shiny new tool. In this session I will demonstrate an end to end process on how to get your survey up and running quickly starting with setting up a community, enabling surveys, creating a survey in Survey Builder with a variety of question types, conditional routing and customisations and creating an email template. Followed closely by generating a survey link and automatically sending a survey invitation upon case closed using process builder. The final steps will be to visualise a desktop and mobile version of the survey and demonstrate the reporting options. With the rapid emphasis on digital transformation and a desire to fully understand our customers, Salesforce Surveys are a great contender to provide insights into customer journeys and help drive real time business decisions.

**Collaboration with Communities** or How I learned to love the Partner Portal and pronounce ‘Spectroscopy’

Sara will share how communities can be used for something different to the usual Customer Service type community that we are used to. How you can build it even with no prior knowledge and how it can be used to share access to your SF org in a controlled way. This session will demonstrate how Sara used Salesforce Partner Communities to replace a clunky booking system the Royal Society of Chemistry used to use. Schools request a training visit for 'Spectroscopy in a Suitcase' using a web form and I have built the community to allow us to share a very specific amount of information with partner Universities so they can progress the visit on Salesforce. I will demonstrate the automation, the custom objects and the different views that Partners and RSC staff see.

You may have seen the marketing material and sales literature declaring that introducing Salesforce as your CRM will increase sales growth by up to 10%. In our experience, this can absolutely be a reality. What many businesses signing up for the application forget though, is that simply installing Salesforce is not enough. To get the best out of the system, it’s important to also invest in onboarding and sales process. If you do this well and you’ll never regret making the leap.
